The player is also said to be optimistic about making his comeback. If he returns, it would provide a major boost for the Lakers at a critical stage of the series.
In contrast, the outlook for Kevin Durant appears less positive. While speaking on ESPNâs Get Up show, Charania said that the Rockets star is not expected to return for Game 5.
Durant has been dealing with a left ankle injury that has limited his involvement. He has played just one game in the series so far â the 101-94 Game 2 loss.
The issue is reportedly affecting his stability and mobility, making a quick return difficult.
