Jack Miller’s Pramac future is in doubt, with Guevara’s clause potentially forcing a replacement

There appears to be a clause in Izan Guevara’s contract with Pramac that could end Jack Miller’s time with the team.

Guevara has a clause in his contract that states he is able to join Pramac should he achieve the right result this weekend. It also means that Pramac would have to bring him up from Blu Cru, their Moto2 team.

Miller and Pramac have been a long-term partnership, but there are concerns within the team over whether Miller can continue competing at this level for another two years. And it now looks like he is being pushed out the door.

All eyes will be on Guevara this weekend, as another strong performance would surely signal the end of Miller’s time at Pramac. The feeling within the team is that they want a more youthful direction for their future.

Izan Guevara’s contract could pave a clear path to MotoGP if he finishes the Catalan GP weekend top of the standings

Giovanni Zamagni recently revealed during a livestream that Izan Guevara has an unusual clause in his Pramac contract, one that could play a significant role this season.

If Guevara finishes the weekend leading the Moto2 championship, he can move up to MotoGP in 2027.

“One thing on Izan Guevara. Apparently, there’s a clause in his contract that if, after the Catalan Grand Prix, he’s the first rider in the overall standings with Blu Cru Pramac, he has the right to go straight to MotoGP in 2027.”

As things stand going into Barcelona, Guevara trails current leader Manuel Gonzales by nine and a half points.
