Six Georgia Bulldogs golfers competing in the PGA Championship

The Georgia Bulldogs continue be the most well-represented college golf program on the PGA Tour. Georgia has six players in the field for the 2026 PGA Championship.

The last Georgia golfer to win a major was Brian Harman at The Open in 2023. Russell Henley came very close to winning the Masters this year and finished tied for third with 10-under.

Georgia has a slew of contenders to win PGA championship. The Bulldogs have three players ranked among the top-25 in the world. Russell Henley (No. 9), Sepp Straka (No. 13) and Harris English (No. 21) are all ranked among the world's best.

The other Georgia Bulldogs competing in the PGA Championship are Brian Harman, Chris Kirk and Keith Mitchell. Former Georgia golfer David Thompson was named as an alternate for the event. Scottie Scheffler, who played college golf at Texas, won the 2025 PGA Championship and is a popular pick to win the tournament again.

The 2026 PGA Championship will take place in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, from Thursday, May 14 to Sunday, May 17. The major tournament is the second of the year and is held at Aronimink Golf Club.
