Ohio State football had a significant presence in the 2026 NFL Draft, with Carnell Tate being selected fourth overall by the Tennessee Titans. The New York Giants also picked linebacker Arvell Reese shortly after.
Ohio State football made an impact early in the 2026 NFL Draft.
With the fourth overall pick, the Tennessee Titans took wide receiver Carnell Tate. The Titans will pair Tate with former Miami quarterback Cam Ward, who was drafted with the No. 1 overall pick last season. Tate joins former Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. as the highest-drafted Buckeyes wide receiver in program history.
The following pick, the New York Giants selected linebacker Arvell Reese, the second linebacker/edge rusher prospect taken. Texas Tech edge rusher David Bailey went to the Jets with the No. 2 overall pick.
