Sophie Cunningham is not holding back when it comes to sharing her odd experiences when it comes to meeting fans.

In an interview with GQ Sports, the Indiana Fever star shared that some of her meetings with fans have been with "old creepy men."

"What's your most memorable or wildest fan interaction?" GQ Sports asked the WNBA star.

"You're asking the right person," Cunningham said with a laugh. "I get a lot of old creepy men so that would be the extreme no so good experiences."

Cunningham did not dwell on the weird interactions with the "old creepy men" but also shared what fan experiences she enjoys the most.

"But the great experiences are all the little boys and girls who are just so excited and new to the WNBA and want to be like us," she continued. "Inspiring them is probably like the most fulfilling thing you can do."

Cunningham is currently a free agent as the 2026 WNBA is expected to begin on April 8. While it's unclear if she will return to the Indiana Fever, where she was a star guard averaging 8.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1.0 steals per game, her off-court roles are also making waves. She will be joining the USA Network as a studio analyst and recently starred in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2026 campaign.

"I’m back baby and with a NEW SQUAAAAD!! I’m joining the @usasports team throughout the year to contribute to studio coverage of @wnba games on @usanetwork," she posted on Instagram, Wednesday, April 8, alongside a compilation video of her best moments last season.

The negotiation period for Cunningham, alongside all other free agents, began on Wednesday but will not be finalized until Saturday, April 11.
