Four-star offensive tackle recruit Nate Carson has named his top-five college football programs. The elite lineman puts the Georgia Bulldogs, Clemson Tigers, South Carolina Gamecocks, Tennessee Volunteers and Texas A&M Aggies in his top schools.
The 6-foot-4, 270-pound offensive lineman plays high school football for Irmo High School in Columbia, South Carolina. Carson is ranked as the No. 168 recruit in the nation, the No. 21 offensive tackle and the fourth-best prospect in South Carolina. Carson is the top-ranked offensive line recruit in South Carolina.
At Irmo, Carson has built up some solid experience. As a junior, he went up against South Carolina signee and four-star recruit Julian Walker. Carson, an Under Armour All-American, shows good mobility in his highlights. He's capable of making blocks and the second level of the defense. The Irmo star primarily played left tackled during his junior campaign.

Carson has gone on recent spring visits to Georgia, Clemson and Texas A&M. He also checked out Tennessee in January. The four-star has official visits planned with South Carolina and Clemson in the upcoming weeks.
Carson has recent scholarship offers from Texas Tech and Miami, so it could become a bidding war for his services. Coach Kirby Smart and Georgia will hope to host Carson on an official visit this summer.
