A âCoach of the Yearâ honor always provides a sense of gratification, but the 2026 season has been special, Prouty said.
âWe had to work a little harder since we had so many young players in the lineup,â she said. âFortunately, we had three seniors who provided us with a great deal of experience, leadership and offensive firepower. âMy other assistant is Dwayne Boudreaux whoâs been on our staff for four years and does an excellent job with our outfield and practice planning,â she said. âThese three make my job easy and I am blessed to have them.â
