Edinburgh Castle was illuminated with images of Scotland's female footballers in a tribute to the women's game.
Players, coaches and parents gathered at dusk at the Castle Esplanade to view projected footage showcasing the journeys of young players into emerging professionals.
It also celebrated existing stars and top professionals.
The event took place to mark Scottish Power signing up to support women's football north of the border for another three years.
The company is extending its partnership with Scottish Women's Football and the Scottish Women's Premiere League.

Aileen Campbell, chief executive at Scottish Women's Football, said: "Scottish Power's continued commitment is a hugely important vote of confidence in the women's and girls' game across the country.
"This partnership has already helped us strengthen the foundations of football in communities, supporting participation, improving the player pathway, and creating more opportunities for girls to stay in the sport and progress, whatever their starting point.
Images showcasing the journeys of young female players and existing stars of Scottish women's football were projected onto Edinburgh Castle.
Players, coaches, and parents gathered at the Castle Esplanade to view the projections and celebrate the women's game.
The illumination served as a tribute to the achievements of female footballers in Scotland and aimed to inspire young players.

The spectacle came at the end of a weekend which saw Scotland maintain their unbeaten record to remain top of Group B4 in World Cup qualifying after a frantic goalless draw in Belgium.
