State of Michigan to visit Indiana basketball as Big Ten announces pairings for 2026-27 season
BLOOMINGTON — Indiana basketball won’t visit Michigan or Ohio once during Darian DeVries’ second Big Ten season, thanks to the conference schedule makers.
All of Michigan, Michigan State and Ohio State will visit IU exclusively next winter, as part of a conference slate that will in turn send the Hoosiers to Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Penn State and the Pacific Northwest.
IU’s three two-play opponents will be Maryland, Northwestern and, as always, Purdue. A full schedule, including dates, is typically confirmed sometime in September.
Indiana's Trent Sisley (11) shoots over Minnesota's Grayson Grove (2) during the Indiana versus Minnesota men's basketball game at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall on Wednesday, March 4, 2026.
Notre Dame guard Markus Burton shoots the ball during a NCAA basketball game against LIU Brooklyn at Purcell Pavilion on Monday, Nov. 3, 2025, in South Bend.
