Chelsea’s performance against Nottingham Forest yesterday was truly terrible, and young Jesse Derry was maybe the only Blue to emerge with some credit from the game after making his senior debut.

FotMob’s player ratings from the game show just how bad some of our players were. The lowest outfield score was Romeo Lavia, who picked up a 6.0/10.

It was the Belgian’s third start in a row, but even getting up to speed after his latest injury doesn’t seem to have helped his form.

But just 5 of those were passes into the final third, and he created 0 chances. Compare that with his fellow midfielder who had 7, and you see the real difference.
