The Pittsburgh Steelers hosted top offensive tackle prospect Spencer Fano for a pre-draft visit as part of their evaluation process ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft. Fano is highly regarded for his unique combination of power and athleticism, making him a potential target for the Steelers if they decide to trade up in the draft.
On Monday, the Pittsburgh Steelers brought in another trio of NFL draft prospects for their Top 30 visits. The 2026 NFL Draft is set for April 23-25. This latest group, which nearly wraps up all of the Steelers visits. This week's first group is very strong with Arkansas quarterback Taylen Green, Alabama wide receiver and headlined by Utah offensive lineman Spencer Fano.
Fano is our No. 1 offensive lineman in this entire draft. We have his graded higher than his Utah teammate Caleb Lomu, Miami's Francis Mauioga and Penn State guard Vega Ioane. Fano's power/athleticism combination is truly rare, even among top NFL offensive tackles and sets the standard for a modern offensive lineman. His ability to move in space as well as lock in at the line of scrimmage reminds us a great deal of Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive tackle Tristan Wirfs.
For the Steelers, if Fano is the target, this is the guy who they would have to trade up for. He's easily the highest-rated player they have had in for a visit and this is due in part to his versatility. While we believe his future is at offensive tackle, he could easily come in as a rookie and start at left guard in place of Isaac Seumalo if needed.

The Steelers are interested in Spencer Fano due to his status as the top offensive lineman in the draft, showcasing a rare combination of power and athleticism that could enhance their offensive line.
While Spencer Fano is projected to play as an offensive tackle, he also has the versatility to start at left guard if needed during his rookie season.
The 2026 NFL Draft is set to occur from April 23 to April 25.
