The Pittsburgh Steelers selected Iowa wide receiver Kaden Wetjen with the 121st pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. Fans from both the Steelers and Iowa are celebrating the pick on social media.
In Day 3 of the 2026 NFL Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers added yet another Iowa football star by drafting wide receiver and special teams icon Kaden Wetjen at No. 121 overall. The move has both Steelers and Hawkeyes fans rejoicing once again on social media. Wetjen will now be joining teammate Gennings Dunker in the Steelers' 2026 draft class and becomes the fifth Hawkeye to be selected by Pittsburgh in the past three NFL drafts. Kaden Wetjen was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers with the 121st overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Kaden Wetjen is the fifth Iowa player drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the last three NFL drafts.
At Iowa, Kaden Wetjen recorded 57 punt returns for 954 yards and 56 kickoff returns for 1,538 yards, scoring a total of six touchdowns.
