On Thursday night, the Pittsburgh Steelers announced their 2026 regular-season schedule. We've gone through the whole thing and offered up our own predictions for wins and losses and have the Steelers finishing 10-7 and teetering on the edge of making the playoffs in a crowded AFC North.
If that's a little too pessimistic for you, you can check out former Steeler James Harrison's prediction. He took to his Deebo and Joe podcast and gushed about the Steelers, going so far as to say the team could go 16-1.
"After we pop them on December 20th, Baltimore, and then the Panthers, and then Tennessee, we're resting," Harrisonsaid. "We done won the North. We probably sitting there fighting for [the AFC's top seed] and fighting for the bye. Maybe 14-3, 13-4 at worst … That's my worst-case scenario … 16-1, [best-case scenario]."
While we appreciate Harrison's optimism, this isn't very realistic. His worst-case scenario is 13-4, and while we didn't predict that, there's no doubt that if the team gets Aaron Rodgers back and he can step his game up from last season, it is possible.
