The Pittsburgh Steelers are not frustrated with Aaron Rodgers' delayed decision regarding his future, allowing him ample time to decide. Reports indicate that the team remains patient, despite shifting timelines for an answer.
The Pittsburgh Steelers continue to give Aaron Rodgers the green light to take as long as he needs to make his decision, as new reports indicate the team isn't frustrated by the 42-year old veteran quarterback.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Steelers aren't necessarily worried about Rodgers' continued waiting game.
âTheyâre not frustrated," Schefter said via The Pat McAfee Show. "I just think people thought there would be an answer. I remember asking various people and theyâre like, âWe should have an answer within 30 days.â And then 30 days came and went. ... âWe should have an answer mid-March.â Itâs mid-March, we donât have an answer. Now we have Art Rooney saying, 'We should have an answer before the draft.'"
Although the estimated timeline for Rodgers' decision continues to be pushed further and further back, the Steelers clearly don't have a problem with giving the quarterback has space, as evident by last year's situation when he signed in early-June.
