The Pittsburgh Steelers' offseason, you could argue, has been laughable in the sense that the franchise still doesn't know what Aaron Rodgers will do in 2026.
On the other hand, the franchise hasn't exactly stood still while the veteran makes up his mind. Under Mike McCarthy, they've gone about their business in a good manner.
Upgrades at receiver and defense, the Steelers, on paper, have done a good job of filling out the roster, and that is with the most important position still in flux.
For CBS Sports' Zachary Pereles, he's described the Steelers' offseason with one word: flexible.
“For a team that still doesn't know who its quarterback is, the Steelers did a decent job,” Pereles wrote. "Add in upgrades at wide receiver (low-cost trade for Michael Pittman Jr.), cornerback (Jamel Dean) and safety (Jaquan Brisker), and Pittsburgh did well upgrading around Aaron Rodgers while not being beholden to his decision.”
The Steelers upgraded their receiving corps and defense, enhancing their roster significantly.
Despite not knowing Rodgers' plans for 2026, the Steelers have actively improved their team under coach Mike McCarthy.

Honestly, I have no idea.
We heard reports that Rodgers was in Pittsburgh over the weekend, but oddly didn't go to the facility, so make of that what you will.
This circus has gone on for too long, and you have to praise Pittsburgh in a sense because they haven't allowed themselves to be held back by Rodgers' indecision. They've made moves to improve the roster for whoever is playing quarterback in 2026.
Surely Aaron knows what his intentions are by now, right? It's been three months.
Yet still we wait to find out who will be Pittsburgh's starter in 2026.
