Stefon Diggs is asking for a judge not to approve a request for information regarding his NFL contract from the man who accused him of sexual assault.
As reported by TMZ, Christopher Blake Griffith accused Diggs of sexual assault and filed a request for Diggsā financial information, specifically regarding the income heās received from his football career. The former New England Patriots wide receiver, who was cut from the team after one season, has asked the judge to avoid granting the request because itās not relevant to the case.
Griffith said that he isnāt satisfied with the information heās received from the defense so far, but Diggsā legal team believes thereās no reason he should have to produce evidence of his finances.
In November last year, TMZ reported that Diggs filed a lawsuit against Griffith after he alleged he was sexually assaulted by the NFL star in 2023 following a night out at a club following a charity basketball game. In the lawsuit, Diggs said he invited Griffith and other influencers back to his home after they went to the club. He said he later went to bed, and his assistant asked Griffith to leave.
Stefon Diggs is refusing to disclose his contract details because his legal team argues that the financial information is not relevant to the sexual assault case.

In summer 2025, however, Griffith made several claims about the night. He alleged, on social media, that Diggs ādrugged and sexually assaultedā him and conspired to have him killed to āsuppress his gay/bisexual secrets from becoming exposed.ā Griffith also alleged that Diggs orchestrated a violent assault on him in an elevator.
āMr. Griffith is looking forward to showing the world in Court that regardless of the fairy tale fabricated by Mr. Diggs' high-priced New York Lawyers, he is the victim of Mr. Diggs' unwanted sexual advances and his brother's violent attacks,ā said Griffithās attorney, Jake Lebowitz. In his lawsuit, Diggs accused Griffith of libel, intentionally seeking to tarnish his reputation.
