The Golden State Warriors’ miserable 2025-26 campaign has finally concluded.

In a win-or-go-home situation on Friday night, the Phoenix Suns jumped out to a 33-15 first-quarter lead and never looked back, securing a 110-90 victory over the Dubs to advance to the postseason.

The Dubs, who were riddled by injuries throughout the year (Jimmy Butler tore his ACL in January, Stephen Curry has been in and out of the franchise’s lineups due to multiple setbacks, and Kristaps Porzingis hasn’t been fully healthy upon joining the Warriors in early February) committed 18 turnovers and surrendered 36 points to Jalen Green in the franchise’s double-digit loss.

While Curry is nearing age 40, there’s been speculation that the four-time NBA champion point guard will retire from the big leagues after an illustrious 17-year career. However, Curry’s postgame comments suggest otherwise.

"Steph Curry said he sees multiple years remaining in his career and 'for sure' would be interested in an extension with the Warriors this summer," ESPN's Anthony Slater reported on X/Twitter.

Essentially, Curry isn’t ready to exit the NBA after recording 16 points and four assists on 26.6% field goal shooting and 33.3% three-point shooting in his final game of the 2025-26 season. After all, it only takes one action-packed offseason for the Warriors to change the narrative surrounding their championship window/hopes.
