Steve Kerr isn't sugarcoating things when it comes to his return to the Golden State Warriors.
With the Warriors missing the playoffs for the second time in three seasons, Ker knows that he needs to do a better job on the sideline moving forward under his new contract with the team.
âI know I have to be better. I didnât have a great coaching year. ⊠We got a little too loose. Literally loose with the ball. But because of our age, because of our injuries, we spent a lot of time resting. So Iâve got to tighten the ship up next year,â Kerr said.
â⊠I think I really, frankly, gave everyone too much leeway this year. It just felt like we were constantly resting everybody and just trying to survive to the next game and have enough healthy bodies. ⊠I think we lost some of our discipline, and we got a little loose. And thatâs my job.â
