Arsene Kouassi (22) has been one of the standout players in FC Lorient’s surprise success this season. The Burkina Faso international has excelled at left-back, and, according to a report from **Foot Mercato,**he is garnering interest ahead of the summer transfer window.
An attack-minded full-back, Kouassi has two goals and six assists in 26 games in Ligue 1 this season. He is now attracting interest from across Europe. His stock is particularly high in the Bundesliga, Foot Mercatounderstands. In Germany, Bayer Leverkusen, Stuttgart, and Eintracht Frankfurt are all interested in the player.
In Italy, AS Roma and Genoa are also in the race to sign the Lorient full-back, whilst there is also interest from another Ligue 1 club. RC Strasbourg Alsace, via their BlueCo owners, have identified Kouassi as a target for the summer window. Les Merluswould not be closed to the idea of a sale this summer and value the player at €10m.
