Sadiki has seamlessly transitioned to Premier League football since arriving at Sunderland last summer from Union SG.
He has been key to the success Sunderland have enjoyed this term, forming a brilliant partnership with Granit Xhaka in the sideās engine room.
United got a first-hand account of just what Sadiki can do over the weekend, when he produced a fine performance to earn the Black Cats a point. He came close to breaking the deadlock in the opening stages of the contest but was denied by a stunning Senne Lammens save.
A report covered by The Peoples Person relayed that Sunderland value the DR Congo international at £45m. Chelsea and Liverpool are also thought to be eyeing the player.
Sadiki spoke to Belgian outlet La DerniĆØre Heure after returning to Union last weekend and reflected on his rise in England. He was also questioned on his future amidst rumours of interest from United and other suitors, and he refused to rule out a move.
The 21-year-old said, āIt is amazing to experience everything that is happening to me now. Everything went so fast: the transfer to England just after the title in Belgium, and then immediately a starter in England.ā
āI havenāt even had time to really realise what has happened since my departure from Union SG. I talk about Union in England; the English know who they are and couldnāt ignore the performances in the Champions League.ā
On his future, Sadiki remarked, āMy future? I still have two matches to play with Sunderland, then the World Cup, which will be very special for the Congolese people.ā
āAnd as for the rest, weāll see next season when the time is right.ā
If United truly want Sadiki, they will note his comments and the fact he stopped short of committing his future to Sunderland.
