The Phoenix Suns were hit hard just ahead of their Play-In game against the Golden State Warriors. Earlier on Friday, starting center Mark Williams and Grayson Allen were given "questionable" status for the win-or-go-home clash. Now, just hours before the tip-off, we've received a confirmed update on Williams and it's not good.
Williams has been ruled out due to left foot soreness, leaving the Suns without their starting center. The status of Allen will be game-time and would probably be taken during shootarounds and warm-ups.
Williams' injury to the left foot happened in the second half of Tuesday’s 114-110 loss to the Portland Trailblazers. The same injury has cost Williams almost a month of missed games this season. The Suns are likely to deploy Oso Ighodaro to replace Williams in the starting lineup. Head coach Jordan Ott will need to find the 12.0 points per game that Williams was giving when he was healthy.

The situation could only get worse from here if Grayson Allen also doesn't suit up for the Warriors game. Allen is dealing with a left hamstring injury and he also didn't play in Tuesday's game against the OKC . Moreover, prior to that game, against the , he subbed out in the first half due to non-contact injury which was later declared left hamstring issue.
Mark Williams is out due to left foot soreness, which has previously caused him to miss almost a month of games this season.
Grayson Allen is listed as questionable, with his status to be decided during shootarounds and warm-ups.
Oso Ighodaro is expected to replace Mark Williams in the starting lineup for the game against the Warriors.
