The Syracuse Crunch beat the Cleveland Monsters 4-1 in Game Two of the North Division Semifinal Series to even the tide.
The Crunch gave the Monsters a taste of their own medicine from the first game as it was Syracuse who went off on a flying start this time, scoring four goals in their first six shots of the game 13:15 minutes into the first period. This all despite being outshot 7-6 by Cleveland by that time.
Monsters goalie Ivan Fedotov's night was over right away, with his stats reading two saves on six shots. He was replaced by Evan Gardner.
Cleveland would outshoot Syracuse in every period, with the total shot-differential in the game being 33-16 in favor of the Monsters.

After replacing Fedotov, Cleveland goalie Gardner registered a 10-save shutout.
