Derry City played out a 1-1 draw with Bohemians in the League of Ireland Premier Division at Dalymount Park on Friday.
James Olayinka gave Derry a first-half lead with his first goal for the club, before Marcus Strods levelled early in the second to secure a share of the spoils.
The visitors were reduced to 10 men inside the final minutes of the game as Adam O'Reilly was dismissed after receiving two yellow cards.
One positive for Tiernan Lynch's side was the return from injury of captain Michael Duffy, who came on as a second-half substitute for his first minutes since March.
Bohs are now eight games without a win, but end a run of three straight defeats, while Derry are now unbeaten in five after coming into Friday's game with back-to-back victories.
The Candystripes stay fifth in the table, 10 points behind the league leaders Shamrock Rovers. Bohs remain in third and fall seven points behind top spot.
A game of two halves
Derry almost took the lead inside the opening two minutes, Barry Cotter's long throw fell to Olayinka on the edge of the area, but the midfielder couldn't keep his effort down.
The visitors continued to dominate the ball and control possession without really troubling Kacper Chorazka in the Bohs goal.
That dominance was finally rewarded five minutes before half-time, Cotter's long ball was controlled well by Darragh Markey, O'Reilly then picked out Olayinka at the edge of the area who had time to take a touch before slotting home.
O'Reilly, Brandon Fleming and Carl Winchester all had efforts blocked as Derry looked to double their lead before the break.
Bohemians emerged for the second-half like a completely different team, playing with pace, directness and intensity before equalising on 52 minutes.
A long ball from defence was headed into the path of Colm Whelan who Strods through, firing across Eddie Beach to the bottom corner of the net.
