Tennessee Titans' offseason ranked among favorites of one NFL insider

The NFL's 2025 year ended on March 11, ushering in the 2026 free agency frenzy. With that also came the pre-draft processes and events like the NFL Combine, Pro Days, and top-30 visits leading up to the 2026 NFL Draft. Players reported to their respective facilities roughly a week before the draft, signaling the winding down of the offseason and the ramping up of training programs.

Every NFL team has concluded its rookie minicamp, free agents have been signed, draft picks have been signed, and mini-camps start this week. The vast majority of media outlets have passed grades on each NFL team's offseason, and the Tennessee Titans generally ranked well in these areas.

NFL Insider Jordan Schultz named six teams that he believes had the best offseason in 2026, and the Titans were one of them.

He doesn't explain the teams he chose for his favorites, other than the initial note that he considered coaching hires, free agency, and the draft. Considering those factors, the Titans definitely made some fantastic moves, as well as some questionable ones (largely regarding contract value), and they did it without breaking the bank.

Looking at Over The Cap, the Titans still have the second-most cap space with over $43 million to spare, and only two draft picks yet to sign. This gives them even more wiggle room to add pieces where there are still holes (additional depth at linebacker would be fantastic), or they can set it aside to roll over for next season.

Either way, Robert Saleh and Mike Borgonzi have done well with what they had to work with, and they've made it possible for the Titans to have a future ahead of the new stadium opening in 2027.
