Texas A&M baseball's midweek game against UTSA has been canceled due to bad weather. This is the second cancellation this season, following a previous game affected by rain.
According to reports on Tuesday morning, Texas A&M baseball's midweek contest against UTSA has been canceled due to inclement weather.
The Aggies were scheduled to face the Roadrunners on Tuesday at 3 p.m. CT, but the weather had different ideas. This marks the second game this season to be canceled due to the weather, after the series finale of the Lone Star Showdown was axed due to the rain and storms in Bryan-College Station.
TexAgs' Ryan Brauninger had the report first via X this morning:
Texas A&M's next contest will come on Friday against the No. 21 Florida Gators in Gainesville. The Aggies have won four consecutive SEC series, including the first sweep at LSU since 1978 last weekend. With the continued success in conference play, Michael Earley's club is rising in the rankings and RPI.
That is due in large part to the dominance of Texas A&M's lineup, which ranks third in the conference and No. 22 in college baseball with a .312 batting average so far this season. Gavin Grahovac and Caden Sorrell have played a large part in the Aggies' impressive outings at the plate, as both rank top 10 in the SEC in batting average. Sorrell also ranks third in the league with 18 home runs in his junior campaign, while Grahovac has recorded 12.
Through 18 of 38 total games in 2026, Texas A&M has notched 10 runs or more against opponents. With a 31-7 (12-5 in SEC play) overall record, the Aggies are in control of their own destiny at second place in the current league standings and just one game behind the Georgia Bulldogs, who are 13-5 in conference play.
Texas A&M's series opener against Florida is slated for Friday at 5:30 p.m. CT and will be broadcast on SEC Network+.
