Texas A&M baseball's 8-4 win over Florida in Game 2 on Saturday forced an all-important, winner-take-all series finale on Sunday at Condron Family Ballpark in Gainesville.
After one of the worst performances at the plate of the season in the series-opening loss to the Gators, Texas A&M bounced back nicely in the second game of the series to force a rubber match in what is shaping up to be one of the most competitive league matchups of the season thus far.
The Aggies produced four home runs at the plate in Saturday's four-run victory, which included infielder Gavin Grahovac going yard for the second time this weekend. Texas A&M's freshmen showed up big against an extremely talented pitching staff, as Nico Partida and Jorian Wilson also recorded homers. To defeat Florida and return to Bryan-College Station with the program's 14th win of SEC play, Texas A&M's pitching staff must be sharp and clean on the mound.
Weston Moss will likely get the start in the series finale, with Russell Sandefer starting for Florida. Sandefer boasts a 3.86 ERA and 38 strikeouts in 2026.
