Texas A&M baseball faces LSU in Baton Rouge for a crucial SEC series opener. The No. 10 Aggies aim for their fourth straight win against a strong home team.
As Texas A&M baseball hits the road for the first of two consecutive road series Friday, it's looking to capture its fourth consecutive win.
The No. 10 Aggies (28-7, 9-5 SEC) are red-hot, fresh off beating in-state foe Houston 10-2 Tuesday and taking both games from Texas last weekend. However, their sixth SEC series won't be easy.
The Tigers (23-15, 6-9) are strong at home, going 17-8 in The Box this season. The defending champions were projected to finish first in the SEC.

It's been an up-and-down season for LSU, which was run-ruled once while being swept by Ole Miss last weekend. The Tigers have lost three of five SEC series this season and currently sit 14th in the conference standings and would need a huge turnaround to host a regional.
However, last season, it was the Aggies who struggled to meet expectations. Still, the Aggies recorded one of their just four series wins last year against LSU at Blue Bell Park.
Friday's action opens with Aggies left-hander Shane Sdao facing Tigers right-hander Casan Evans.
Stay tuned for updates from the action:
