Texas A&M vs. LSU: SEC baseball live updates, score, highlights

After an impressive showing against the Texas Longhorns in the Lone Star Showdown, Texas A&M baseball will aim to secure its third consecutive SEC series against the LSU Tigers at Alex Box Stadium this weekend.

The Aggies enter Friday's series opener with a 28-7 (9-5 in SEC) record and are ranked second in the current conference standings behind Georgia. In the series win over the Longhorns, Texas A&M scored 20 runs in just two games on the then-ranked No. 2 team in college baseball. In his second season as the Aggies' skipper, Michael Earley has his club firing on all cylinders at the plate, scoring 10 runs or more in 17 of 35 contests this year.

Once again, the success of the Aggie bullpen will be the key to victory against the Tigers, which rank fourth in the league with 63 home runs in 2026. Shane Sdao will get the start on the bump for the Maroon and White in Game 1. While his ERA does not jump off the charts, Sdao has produced some solid starts throughout the season, while recording 58 total strikeouts so far.
