A team spokesperson later said that Robbins was sidelined by an illness. Texas coach Jim Schlossnagle told reporters after the game that he was unsure if Robbins would play in the Longhorns' regular-season finale on Saturday.
"We'll kind of monitor him through tonight, and I don't know if he'll play again this weekend," Schlossnagle said. "No injury, he's just pretty sick. (He) started feeling bad during (batting practice), and then was feeling better leading up to the game, and got worse once he got out there and started moving around."
