WNBA training camps open with key questions for each team.
Texas softball has lost the first two games of its SEC series against Oklahoma, extending their losing streak to four games. The No. 4 Longhorns aim to avoid a series sweep in Game 3, likely starting ace Teagan Kavan.
After dropping the first two games of its SEC series against rival Oklahoma, Texas softball likely dropped out of the race for a conference championship. Now, the No. 4 Longhorns (32-6, 9-5 SEC) just want to snap out of a sudden losing streak that has stretched to four games.
The Longhorns lost two of three games last week to Alabama, and they fell to No. 2 Oklahoma (40-3, 13-1) Friday 3-0 and Saturday 4-3. They’ll likely turn again to ace Teagan Kavan in Sunday’s series finale while trying to avoid the series sweep.
