The 2026 WNBA season starts on Friday with a stack of three games. As luck would have it, one of those three will involve the Seattle Storm and Natisha Hiedeman, the 2019 Big East Player of the Year, Marquette Hall of Famer, and free agent pick up for the Storm.
The Storm open up the year with a home game against Golden State, and that game will be on Ion, as that network continues their Friday night broadcast package for the WNBA. Not every game for Hiedeman and the Storm will be on national TV this season, so if you want to watch every game, youâre going to need to sign up for League Pass. However, 28 of their 44 games will be on what weâll call national TV, so donât feel like you have to pop for League Pass unless youâre a completist.
Hereâs the breakdown of how youâre going to be able to watch Hiedeman and the Storm this season, sorted by number of games:
USA Network: 12 Ion: 6 NBA TV: 3 ABC: 2 Peacock: 2 Prime Video: 2 ESPN: 1
One heads up on the Ion broadcasts: There is a possibility that these games might be Regional Availability Only. At a glance, it seems like Ion is doing a doubleheader on Friday nights, but thatâs multiple early games going at the same time and one late game. 9pm vs Golden State tomorrow? Alone. July 17 at Indiana at 6:30pm Central? Thatâs at the same time as both Atlanta/Toronto and Los Angeles/Chicago. Again, if youâre ultra serious about seeing every Storm game, League Pass is your move here, and honestly? At $40 for the entire season and the entire league, thatâs a heck of a deal as long as you 1) have a cable package anyway and 2) donât mind losing the ability to see the Prime Video or Peacock games.

If youâre a Milwaukee area person like me and looking to get out to see Hiedeman in person this season, the only time that Seattle comes to Chicago to play the sky is an 11am Central time start on Wednesday, July 15th. No, I donât know why theyâre playing at 11am in the middle of the week, but if you want to travel down to Wintrust Arena, thereâs your one chance this season.
