The Boston Celtics could have a ready-made Jaylen Brown trade partner

Jaylen Brown's future with the Boston Celtics is already emerging as a significant talking point as we head into the offseason. The rumor mill got sent into overdrive when Tracy McGrady hinted that Brown may be frustrated with the Celtics organization during a recent podcast episode. As you can imagine, the fanbase is already cooking up hypothetical trades to prepare themselves should Brown's tenure with Boston begin to hit choppy waters. One player that could make sense in a potential trade is Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is reportedly disgruntled with the Milwaukee Bucks. According to ESPN's Brian Windhorst, speaking on a May 6 episode of "Get Up," the Bucks are keeping an eye on Brown's situation in Boston, and could be willing to discuss a potential trade. “This is extraordinarily simple,” Windhorst said. “Of course, it makes sense for Milwaukee. Of course, Milwaukee would see some of the stuff Jaylen Brown is saying and would get ready to call Boston. From Boston’s standpoint, this is very simple. In July, Jaylen Brown has the opportunity to sign a contract extension with the Celtics … If he’s happy with the Celtics, sign. If he’s not happy with the Celtics, and he’s like, ‘I’m not sure I want to be here,’ trade.”
