The Cleveland Browns may have done it again. For what could be the second time in back-to-back NFL Drafts, the Browns may have loaded up on some of the best young prospects possible. The team prioritized playmaking wide receivers and powerhouses on the offensive line to help bolster an offense that struggled mightily in 2025. The hope is that, regardless of whose under center, they'll have a better chance of success in 2026.

Browns fans everywhere seem to love this draft, but it's not just the Browns-faithful who believe in the team's most recent draft class, either. Cleveland's draft success has caught the eyes of industry giants across the board. ESPN personality Mel Kiper was very big on the Browns, with him giving the Browns an A+, while wondering if the 2026 class can have the same impact as the 2025 class.

"I don't know that Cleveland's 2026 group of draft picks will have the same impact", Kiper said. "But this is another good group which should have Week 1 roles. Another good draft weekend for the Browns."

NFL Stock Exchange's Trevor Sikkema gave the Browns the only A+ of his evaluation of the draft. He told 92.3's Nick Wilson and Jonathan Peterlin that he thinks guys like Denzel Boston and KC Concepcion could be big additions.

"You fast forward the clock a year or two years from now, I bet KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston are the WR1 and WR2" Sikkema said. "I think they're building the whole passing attack around these guys."

The top marks kept coming, with PFF giving the Browns an A+, and NFL.com gave the Browns an A-. That's not all. The Athleticnamed the Browns as "winners" on the day. The love affair didn't end there; in fact, according to Dawgs By Nature, of the 24 leading publications that cover the NFL Draft, all but five gave the Browns an A- or greater.

All of this preseason praise, however, just leads to higher expectations for the rookies come the season.

When you have that many people, from all across the industry, giving you such high marks, then it only adds to the pressure for the rookies to step up right away and make an impact to justify the scores they were given. Then you tack on the fact that last season's crop of rookies was so good that it just further raises the demand that the 2026 crop of rookies do the same or better.

For better or worse, the success of 2025's class is directly impacting the expectations for the 2026 class. Right or wrong.

The bar on the current crop of rookies is higher than maybe any other class in recent franchise history, and these young men are going to have to hit the ground running if they hope to live up to the lofty expectations placed upon them.
