Brighton & Hove Albion record impressive victory against league leaders Manchester City
Brighton & Hove Albion upsets Manchester City with a 3-2 victory!
Jakobi Meyers has been traded from the Las Vegas Raiders to the Jacksonville Jaguars, with the Raiders receiving a fourth and sixth-round pick in return. Meyers signed a three-year, $60 million contract extension with the Jaguars after a successful 2025 season.
The Raiders got the fourth-round pick from the Jags, but it originally belonged to the Minnesota Vikings, who sent it to Jacksonville for offensive tackle Cam Robinson. It falls at 117 overall and we will update when the Raiders use the selection. The 182nd overall pick is also part of the deal, but the Raiders traded that to the Bills for this offseason. He will slot in as the nickel cornerback — pun intended.
The Raiders received a 2026 fourth-round pick and a sixth-round pick, while the Jaguars acquired Jakobi Meyers.
Meyers caught 42 passes for 483 yards and three touchdowns, becoming a key target for quarterback Trevor Lawrence.
Meyers signed a three-year, $60 million contract extension in December, keeping him with the Jaguars until the end of the 2028 season.

Meyers was a great addition to the Jaguars in the second half of the 2025 season. After his trade to the Jags, Meyers caught 42 passes for 483 yards and three touchdowns, surpassing the numbers he posted with the Raiders earlier in the season. Meyers was a top target for quarterback Trevor Lawrence in the second half of the season, and the team views him as an important piece to the offensive puzzle moving forward.
Meyers signed a three-year, $60 million contract extension in December, which has him on the books until the end of the 2028 campaign. The Jags also moved No. 2 overall pick Travis Hunter to cornerback full-time, partially due to the fact that Meyers played so well for them in 2025.
