The San Francisco Giants are stuck in a bit of a salary crunch, are near the bottom of the National League West, and have not many more options left at the moment. There is one big move they can make to try to salvage a little bit before the trade deadline in August.

Robbie Ray, who is wrapping up a five-year, $115 million deal he signed with Seattle and is now being paid by the Giants, is at the top of the trade block. He has been one of the few on this pitching staff not to be struggling this season, and with a brand-new deal on the horizon, he may be worth exploring for several teams in the playoff hunt.

Ray is 3-4 on the year, but has a blistering low 2.76 ERA. The 34-year-old left-hander was named in Bob Nightingale's USA Today piece on responses from MLB executives regarding the trade deadline.
