2. Adam Schefter: A “Plotting” NFL Front Office Has Vikings Edge Rusher in Crosshairs: Much ink has been spilled on the possibility of moving out Jonathan Greenard. The talented edge rusher is an underpaid edge rusher. His problems are twofold: playing for a cash-strapped team while coming off a modest season in the sack statistic.

3. Vikings Officially Get Attacking Linebacker Under Contract: Ivan Pace has slowly faded, going from a huge success as a rookie to being a solid backup as a third-year player. Getting him to put pen to paper was always a formality. He now needs to work toward fixing the missed tackles while taking a positive step in coverage.

4. A Vikings Mock if the Move is to Get Massive, Muscular, and Mean: Well, the Vikings did get massive. Choosing Caleb Banks at No. 18 caught many off guard, myself included. Seeing the 6’6” lineman who tips the scales at roughly 330 pounds become a Week 1 starter involves a few things going right, including his health.

5. 2 Players Emerge as Likely Vikings Picks: Lots of prognosticators and prophets got it wrong. I, for one, participated in the annual tradition of a swing and a miss (my crystal ball must have had a smudge). We’ll see how the remainder of the event unfolds.
