The 2025/26 season is wrapping up over the next 10 days, and there’s plenty to look forward to. Arsenal are two wins away from their first Premier League title in over 20 years, and a Champions League final awaits at the end of the month in Budapest.

In the midst of all of the excitement, Adidas gave Arsenal fans a glimpse of next season’s home kit when they officially announced the latest iteration of the iconic red and white strip.

Next season’s kit is a subtle departure from the current kit. Adidas has forgone a complete overhaul of the Gunners’ look to keep things perfectly classic. As they say, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Though the changes aren’t major, there are three noticeable ones. The first, and most stark, are the stripes on the shoulders. The classic red remains in the middle stripe, but the outer stripes include a darker shade of red, which adds a distinct contrast up close that is more subtle from a distance.

The body of the kit has gone back to a much cleaner solid red look after the current season incorporated the Arsenal gothic A pattern in the fabric.

The neckline has also changed from a ring collar to 3/4 collar with a pattern that incorporates a new design, which is “inspired by the sweeping rooflines” of the Emirates stadium according to Arsenal.com, as the kit marks the 20th anniversary of Arsenal’s move from Highbury to their current grounds. The same red and dark red scheme highlights the sleeve cuffs, adding a delicate decorative touch while keeping the look quintessentially Arsenal, with a staggered lightning bolt look.

The most significant change has nothing to do with the kit itself. The recent trend of the clubs sporting next season’s kit during the final home match has been waived as clubs with a chance of winning the title on the final day are have the option to continue wearing the current season’s kit, which the Gunners have taken. It’s a small price to pay for having to wait a little longer to see the players take to the pitch in the new look.

One added bonus for the first 40,000 kits sold is the inclusion of a limited edition NFC card that supporters can use on the Arsenal app to access voice notes and messages from current players. It’s a tad gimmicky, but altogether harmless and sure to be a nice surprise for some of the more dedicated fans.
