As the 2026 PBR World Finals has moved from the Cowtown Coliseum to the Dickies Arena, the bulls have not stopped bringing their best to the dirt. World No. 1, Pegasus, and World No. 2, Ransom, both posted monstrous scores at Night 5 of the Finals. Almost more shocking than their high scores, however, is the fact that both of the top 2 bulls in the 2026 PBR World season were bested by their bested by their riders, ridden for 8 monumental seconds. Despite the shock in both bulls allowing rides in same night of the 2026 PBR World Finals, itâs no surprise that these rides were both well over 90-point scores.
Pegasus was the first of these two bulls to storm out of the chutes at the Dickies arena, and he brought his best to the finals yet again. Rider Alex Cerqueira was able to secure a 94.35-point ride, thanks to his skilled riding and Pegasusâs rank control providing a 46.3-point out. This was the highest scoring ride of the event, blowing Sage Steele Kimzeyâs 92.6-point ride on Lights Out in Round 2 out of the water. That is, until Random stepped up to the chutes.
Ransom came with a note for rider Eduardo Aparecido, and Aparecido had an answer. With an absolutely outstanding performance from both bull and rider, this ride was a 96.10-point ride; the third-highest score in a PBR World Final in history. This ride was one for the history books, and it only added to Ransomâs reputation as one of the rankest bulls in the world.
As the 2026 PBR World Finals continue, the rankings for the No. 1 Bull in the World have only become closer and closer. With both Pegasus and Ransom expected to make one finals out in the 2026 season, the question of which bull will be able to secure the title will soon be answered.
In the meantime, PBR fans will be watching closely as the worldâs top bulls continue to buck their best under the bright lights of the Dickies arena, and one thing is certain; there will not be a lack of bull power.
Pegasus scored 94.35 points while Ransom achieved a remarkable 96.10 points, the third-highest score in PBR World Finals history.

Throughout the 2026 PBR World Finals event, every bull that has stepped out of the chutes has brought their best. This is important, especially at the World Finals, because it is continuing to give riders the opportunity to receive the highest scores possible on their rides. This is because the score assigned to every ride is half from the bull and half from the rider. Overall, when the bulls are performing as well as the elite athletes currently bucking in Fort Worth, Texas, there is a door opened to the riders to make history and secure high-scoring rides. But only the best will be able to best these beasts and take control for those 8 seconds.
