Kingsville junior JB Kazanjian leads the pack, having qualified in all five of her individual events, including as the regional champion in the 100, 100 hurdles, 200 as well as the long jump.
Two Class 5A boys field athletes go into the state meet as the top seed in their respective events.
Veterans Memorial's Brody Garcia is the top seed in high jump (6-11¼) and Gregory-Portland's Ryder Harrison is atop the qualifiers in pole vault (16-6).
Other athletes that qualified in multiple individual events include Veterans Memorial's Sara Flores, Calallen's Trevor Roach, London's Jay Lambert and Alana Williams, Banquete's Blas Villarreal, Refugio's Mikel Brown and Jazmyn Howard, Port Aransas' Leah DePiper and McMullen County's London Yanity.
