Kayode’s first full season with the Bees has also earned recognition, with the right-back named on the Young Player of the Season shortlist.

The 21-year-old has firmly established himself as one of the most impressive full-backs in the division, making 35 Premier League appearances and contributing to eight clean sheets.

Kayode’s pace, power and defensive qualities have been key to Brentford’s season, while his long throw-ins have developed into a major attacking weapon. Those deliveries have led to five goals and either created or directly caused 40 shots on goal in the Premier League this term.

He is nominated alongside Manchester City’s Rayan Cherki and Nico O’Reilly, West Ham United’s Mateus Fernandes, Newcastle United’s Lewis Hall, Bournemouth duo Junior Kroupi and Alex Scott, and Manchester United’s Kobbie Mainoo.

In the dugout, Andrews has been recognised following an outstanding debut season as Brentford head coach.

Having taken charge last summer following Thomas Frank’s departure to Tottenham Hotspur, Andrews has made an immediate impact in west London, guiding the Bees into contention for European qualification while overseeing memorable victories over Manchester United, Liverpool and Aston Villa.

The Bees boss is nominated alongside Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta, Manchester United’s Michael Carrick, Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola, Bournemouth’s Andoni Iraola and Sunderland’s Régis Le Bris.
