The lack of a third starter came back to bite LSU today. Cooper Moore was arguably LSU's most productive pitcher before being sidelined by an injury. The Tigers missed him this weekend as the bullpen day today did not go well.

After being swept this weekend by Ole Miss, LSU is 6-9 in conference play. As of right now, that is the third-worst record in the conference. The only worse teams are South Carolina and Missouri. It is hard to believe this team went into the season as the No. 2 team in the country.
Road woes continue

LSU is now 3-7 in road games this season. Not all of the losses were conference losses, either, as one of the losses occurred against Louisiana-Lafayette. LSU will have to get better on the road, as this team will have to travel in a regional this season.
