Tennessee Titans assistant general manager Dave Ziegler will interview for the Minnesota Vikings' general manager vacancy, according to a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Ziegler has been with the Titans since 2025, when he was hired as assistant GM under Mike Borgonzi. A former GM himself, Ziegler was the Las Vegas Raiders' general manager in 2022-23. He's spent the majority of his career working in New England under former coach Bill Belichick, where Ziegler served in the pro personnel and player personnel departments from 2013-21.
Since arriving in Nashville, Ziegler has been in the inner circle of Borgonzi's brain trust of advisers. That group has also included former Raiders GM Reggie McKenzie, vice president of player personnel Dan Saganey and former Titans president of football operations Chad Brinker. Brinker resigned from his post atop the Titans' non-football-personnel department after the draft, ending his three-plus year association with the franchise.

Per Schefter, other candidates who will interview for the Vikings vacancy include Rams assistant GM John McKay, Seahawks assistant GM Nolan Teasely, Bills assistant GM Terrance Gray, 49ers assistant GM RJ Gillen and Chargers assistant GM Chad Alexander. Ziegler is the only candidate in the bunch who has served as an NFL GM previously.
With Brinker's resignation, the Titans are already down one leader in the front office. No formal hire has been made or interview process has been announced about how the Titans will go about filling Brinker's role in the organization, whether through internal promotions or by outside hires. Brinker initially led the process to hire Borgonzi and retained final say on roster matters for the first year of Borgonzi's tenure, but that power was transferred from Brinker to Borgonzi in Jan. 2026.
