Each year following the NFL draft, some of the best stories come out of the undrafted free-agent process.
Following the 2026 NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans made some notable free-agent signings, including John Carroll wide receiver Tyren Montgomery. But in another move, the team signed another wide receiver by the name of Brock Rechsteiner.
Rechsteiner is the son of WWE Hall of Famer and professional wrestling legend Scott Steiner. Steiner quickly posted about his son on X with the phrase "Titan Up".
Steiner and his brother, Rick, competed in several wrestling promotions starting in the 1980s after making a name for themselves as amateur wrestlers at the University of Michigan. The team won 11 world tag team championships together and were chosen for the WWE Hall of Fame in 2022.
Scott was a huge part of one of the biggest groups in wrestling history, the New World Order.
Scott has an athletic bloodline. His nephew, Bronson (Rick's son), currently competes for WWE. Bronson played college football at Kennesaw State and was signed by the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2020. He spent training camp with the team as a fullback before being released following the preseason, which led to his professional wrestling career, where he is now known as Bron Breakker.

Scott's youngest son, Brandon, is a college basketball player who played for Colorado State this past season, averaging 12.0 points per game while shooting 40 percent from three-point range. He has since entered the transfer portal and will play for Kansas State next season.
Rechsteiner played three seasons at Jacksonville State, catching 53 passes. He had a solid 2025 season with 36 receptions and five touchdowns.
He's a good-sized receiver at 6-foot-2 and 225 pounds, but like any undrafted player, faces long odds to make the team. The Titans have placed an extra emphasis on the wide receiver position in the last two offseasons, drafting both Elic Ayomanor and Chimere Dike in the fourth round in 2025. This offseason, they signed Wan'Dale Robinson in free agency before using their first-round pick on Ohio State's Carnell Tate.
That tells you that a guy like Rechsteiner will be looking to impress enough to be added to the team's practice squad at the end of the preseason, barring an unforeseen breakout. It will be interesting to see if he would be interested in continuing his playing career by taking the long road or if he has plans to become his cousin's tag team partner in WWE.
