Day 3 of the NFL draft is well underway, and after the Tennessee Titans made their second fifth-round selection by taking Penn State running back Nick Singleton with pick No. 165.
Although there will be some health questions that must be answered after Singleton broke his foot at the Senior Bowl, before the injury, he was an explosive running back with the nose for the end zone. The Penn State prospect scored over 50 touchdowns in his career in Happy Valley and will now bring his talents to Nashville.
The Titans have three picks remaining in the 2026 NFL Draft, but before you get there, here are three things to know about Singleton.
Playing at Governor Mifflin High School in Shillington, Pennsylvania, he was a beast, rushing for 6,326 yards and 116 touchdowns. He capped that incredible high school career by rushing for 2,043 yards and 41 touchdowns, earning him the Gatorade Football Player of the Year award.
Singleton was viewed as the top running back in his class. He committed to play college football at Penn State University, choosing them over multiple college powerhouses, Alabama, Notre Dame, and Ohio State.
Singleton injured his foot during Senior Bowl practices and had to undergo surgery to repair a fractured fifth metatarsal in his right foot. This injury did impact his draft stock and could impact his offseason running back.
