PL Predictions: Brighton to send Spurs sliding towards the unthinkable
Brighton is set to face Tottenham this weekend, with predictions leaning towards a Brighton victory.
The Tennessee Titans signed wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson for $17.5 million a season, but he has been listed among the worst free agency signings of 2026. Critics argue that his performance and statistics do not justify such a high investment, especially given his limited impact as a top receiver.
The 2026 NFL Draft is nine days away. The buzz around the NFL is about predicting which teams will do in the draft, and much of that depends on what they did in free agency. To that end, the Tennessee Titans were quite active during free agency this year, bringing in new talent from many places.
One of the players the Titans brought in was wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson. Robinson spent his first four seasons in the NFL with the New York Giants, where he played under Titans' new offensive coordinator Brian Daboll. The Giants would have absolutely kept him if they could afford him, but their cap space is limited, and they have more pressing needs right now. That's how Robinson landed in Tennessee.
A recent Bleacher Report article lists their top 10 worst free agency signings, and Robinson was one of them. The author writes, in part:
That (Robinson's breakout year) got the 25-year-old $17.5 million a season from the Titans, and he told reporters that he intends to be Cam Ward's "go-to" wideout in Nashville:
"If you just watch the tape, him being able to create plays outside of the pocket, that's what really stands out. For me, being that valuable target, always being able to be open for a guy. They told me that they needed somebody like that. So that was really what got me, and just being able to grow with a young quarterback to see where he can get to. My job is to get open. Just go out there and get open for Cam, and the targets will come."
The targets had better come, because Robinson isn't a guy who is going to take the top off opposing defenses or blow past cornerbacks. He has averaged just 9.2 yards per catch for his career and has just nine touchdown grabs in four professional seasons.
Seventy million dollars is a lot to commit to a player who is probably best suited to being the third option in an NFL passing attack.
Robinson will forever be a slot receiver because of his size, but calling him the third option? He won't be the first; that belongs to Ridley, but you can bet Robinson will be the second option for Cam Ward. No one should underestimate what Robinson brings to the table. He had his best year in 2025 with Jaxson Dart, a quarterback who can make plays outside the pocket.
There have been no other outlets to say this was one of the worst signings, and honestly, if the worst signings list doesn't include the Atlanta Falcons' signing of Tua Tagovialoa, what are we even doing?

Wan'Dale Robinson is viewed as one of the worst signings due to his underwhelming career stats, including an average of just 9.2 yards per catch and only nine touchdowns in four seasons.
The Tennessee Titans signed Wan'Dale Robinson to a contract worth $17.5 million per season.
Wan'Dale Robinson is expected to be the 'go-to' wideout for quarterback Cam Ward, although he is likely best suited as a third option in the team's passing attack.
