It’s hard to believe, but the NFL schedule release is just a few days away, and everyone will find out if the Tennessee Titans will once again be snubbed from any primetime games in 2026. Until then, it leaves plenty of time to look at the roster and catch up on anything that might have fallen through the cracks.
One thing that has gone unnoticed this offseason is the quarterback room behind Cam Ward. While there is no doubt that Ward is the unquestioned starter, there will be an interesting competition behind him on the depth chart, and by all accounts, Will Levis is firmly in the mix.
Many believed that Levis would be dealt around the draft, especially after the Titans added Hendon Hooker to the mix earlier in the offseason. But Levis is still in Nashville and, from the sound of it, has looked good during voluntary workouts.
"Will has been really good for us," offensive coordinator Brian Daboll said. "He has picked up the system well. He is a big, strong, athletic guy who has played some in the league. He kind of gets a fresh start here with us."
There is still a long way to go before the season starts, and Levis could see his stock rise with a strong preseason. Just two years ago, Tennessee parted ways with Milik Willis at the end of training camp, so anything is possible. But keeping Levis is also an option, and allowing him to battle with Hooker and Mitch Trubisky for a roster spot.
Will that happen? Who knows, but the Titans have time to wait and build the best roster available, and Levis could make his way onto the final 53.
