The Boston Celtics continue to win games despite missing key players, demonstrating their depth and resilience. Coach Joe Mazzulla emphasizes that every game is treated with the same winning mentality, regardless of who is on the court.
The Boston Celtics have surprised us with their ability to win games no matter who has been able to suit up for them all season long. So it should not have surprised us as much as it has that the Stay-Ready Crew was able to beat an Orlando Magic squad fighting for home court in the play-in tournament. No Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, Derrick White, Payton Pritchard, Sam Hauser, or Neemias Queta? No problem, it seems.
Maybe more than anyone, Celtics coach Joe Mazzulla was unsurprised by the outcome. "We said it all year, one through 15, whoever steps on the floor, there is an expectation to put us in position with the opportunity to win," said the Celtics coach. "Stick to the process of winning."
"Today is no different than the other 81 games from the standpoint of we had five guys that were able to play," he added.
Joe Mazzulla's coaching has instilled a winning mentality in the Celtics, enabling them to perform well even with key players absent.
The Celtics were missing Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, Derrick White, Payton Pritchard, Sam Hauser, and Neemias Queta during their recent game.
The 'Stay-Ready Crew' refers to the Celtics' depth players who are prepared to step up and contribute to victories, showcasing the team's resilience and unity.
