The Cleveland Browns quarterback competition is going to be, perhaps, one of the most-watched and scrutinized battles of the offseason.
Shedeur Sanders, Deshaun Watson, and Dillon Gabriel are all vying for the starting role under new head coach Todd Monken, and when you have three quarterbacks for one position, reps are limited.
That means they have to be taken by those players to prove to Monken they deserve the QB1 title.
But as the Browns began their voluntary offseason workouts, how did Monken see the trio of Sanders, Watson, and Gabriel fare?
"I thought they were in command. I never felt at one time like (any of them) were lost," Monken said via NFL.com. "... To me, that's the start of it. The start of it is how we function, how they lead. Is there a belief system? Who has the ball in their hands every play."

It's mainly because of the quarterback competition. We know what the Browns' defense will be, but the offense? That is a question mark.
With the Browns holding the No. 6 overall pick in the draft, the franchise could look to add an offensive weapon for whoever plays quarterback.

For most, it should be Sanders that gets first crack at the starting role, and then Gabriel, as we know what we are getting with Watson, but Monken has made it clear it's open season at quarterback.
Whoever takes their chance and impresses, that's who'll start.
