McCray was chosen in the seventh round of the 2004 NFL Draft and appeared in all 16 games of his rookie season. During his time in Jacksonville, he was a reliable contributor on the defense, recording multiple sacks, tackles, and forced fumbles. By 2007, he had fought his way to being a starter in the postseason, where he got a sack and a fumble from quarterback , helping the Jaguars win the AFC wild card game. His production far exceeded what many might have expected from a seventh-round pick.

Selected in 2018 in the seventh round, Cooke continues to stand out for his skill as a punter on the Jaguars roster today. He is widely considered to be one of the best punters in the NFL, with the highest net punting average in NFL history, and was named to the Pro Bowl in 2025. He is consistent and accurate, and routinely is able to punt the ball inside the 20-yard line. While special teams often go overlooked in today's NFL, Cooke is a standout who could easily be considered a draft steal for his constant ability to perform and have a positive impact each week.
