After losing Jack Jones, Kader Kohou, Rasul Douglas, Ifeatu Melifonwu, Kendall Sheffield and Artie Burns last month, the Dolphins signed Alex Austin, Darrell Baker and Marco Wilson to fill spots in the cornerback room.
Those might be some solid veterans, but the Dolphins still need a true No. 1, and the only way they find that before Week 1 is through the draft, and the top cornerback available will be LSU's Mansoor Delane, who Miami hosted for a top-30 visit recently.
On Wednesday, Delane spoke to TD Phins Talk and shared his feelings on the Dolphins potentially taking him with pick No. 11.
"It would be great," Delane said. "Coach Hafley, that's my guy. He recruited me out of high school, so really just knowing the type of guy and the standard that he has and the way that he's going to get that program the way it needs to be. It would be a blessing."
